Mindflow
Founded 2021 · Paris, France
Who it’s for
SecOps, IT and Cloud teams revalidating XSOAR playbooks that want first flows in production in about two weeks, every vendor operation as a native step and native case management in Case Rooms.
Who it isn’t for
Teams that must self-host in their own data center, run air-gapped or need FedRAMP: Mindflow runs as a dedicated tenant, in Europe by default or in your own AWS account.
Mindflow is an agentic process automation platform for every team, from SecOps, IT and Cloud Ops to business operations. Flows and AI··Agents use 4,000+ native integrations and 200,000+ API operations, built and maintained by Mindflow, sensitive actions wait for a human approval, and every model call and tool call is logged. Mindflow is SOC 2 Type II audited and ISO 27001:2022 certified.
Bottom line
The closest fit when the goal is to leave XSOAR without losing case management, and to extend the same flows to IT and Cloud Ops.
Splunk SOAR
Splunk, a Cisco company · began as Phantom, acquired in 2018
Who it’s for
SOCs that work inside Splunk Enterprise Security and want SOAR in the same console, or need SOAR on-premises, hybrid or FedRAMP Moderate.
Who it isn’t for
Teams on Microsoft Sentinel or several SIEMs, and teams that want to stop maintaining Python playbook code.
Splunk SOAR is Splunk’s security orchestration platform, now also a native capability of Splunk Enterprise Security Premier. Its catalog lists 300+ third-party tools and 2,800+ automated actions, and SOAR agents run in SOAR Cloud with ES 8.6 or later (October 2026).
Bottom line
A natural move for Splunk-centric SOCs, and a narrower one if your SIEM is something else.
FortiSOAR
Fortinet · began as CyberSponse, acquired in 2019
Who it’s for
Teams that must self-host, on-premises or air-gapped, and SOCs built on the Fortinet Security Fabric, including OT.
Who it isn’t for
Teams that don’t want Linux servers, HA nodes or platform upgrades to run, and analysts who don’t write Jinja2 or Python for advanced logic.
FortiSOAR is a full SOC platform with native case management, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, war rooms, 700+ connectors and 6,500+ playbooks. FortiSOAR 8.0 added agentic AI and bidirectional MCP (June 2026).
Bottom line
The strongest option here when the platform must run inside a boundary you operate.
Swimlane Turbine
Founded 2014 · Denver, Colorado
Who it’s for
Security teams that need an AI SOC platform on-premises or air-gapped, or want to start from 2,500+ prebuilt playbooks.
Who it isn’t for
Teams that need a long audit history in the platform, since Turbine keeps audit logs 7 days, and teams that automate IT and Cloud Ops too.
Swimlane Turbine is a low-code security automation and AI SOC platform covering every security function, with 500+ Marketplace connectors, 2,500+ prebuilt playbooks and AI-driven case management (October 2026).
Bottom line
A broad security platform with flexible deployment, including air-gapped.
Tines
Founded 2018 · Dublin and Boston
Who it’s for
Security and IT teams that want no-code automation with native cases, and teams that must self-host from Docker images.
Who it isn’t for
Teams that don’t want to configure and maintain HTTP requests for tools without a pre-built template.
Tines is a no-code platform for security and IT automation. It connects tools mainly through its HTTP Request action and pre-built templates, and includes native Cases, Records and Dashboards. It holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 42001 (October 2026).
Bottom line
A strong fit for teams comfortable working with APIs, with a long compliance list.
Torq
Founded 2020 · Denver and Tel Aviv
Who it’s for
SOC teams that want a packaged AI SOC, or whose RFP requires BSI C5 or a HIPAA BAA.
Who it isn’t for
Teams that also automate IT and Cloud Ops: Torq states that “Security is all we do.”
Torq describes itself as “The AI SOC Platform”: the Socrates AI analyst orchestrates HyperAgents and Auto Triage, next to native case management and 300 to 400+ pre-built integrations (October 2026).
Bottom line
A strong pick for an AI-first SOC, and a narrower one beyond security operations.

No-code stories with HTTP Request actions and native cases.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most.
What is the best Cortex XSOAR alternative?
It depends on your stack. Splunk-centric SOCs usually look at Splunk SOAR, teams that must self-host look at FortiSOAR or Swimlane, and teams that want an AI SOC out of the box look at Torq. Mindflow fits teams that automate SecOps, IT and Cloud Ops together and want native case management on a dedicated tenant hosted in Europe by default.
Is Cortex XSOAR being replaced by AgentiX?
Palo Alto Networks presents Cortex AgentiX, launched in October 2025, as “the next generation of Cortex XSOAR”. XSOAR 8.15 shipped in July 2026, Palo Alto has published no end date for XSOAR SaaS, and on-premises 8.x ends September 30, 2029.
Can I migrate from Cortex XSOAR in stages?
Yes. Rebuild one high-volume process, such as phishing triage, on the new platform, run both on the same alerts until outcomes match, then move the trigger. Mindflow solution engineers co-build the first flows.
Which XSOAR alternatives run on-premises?
FortiSOAR, Swimlane Turbine and Splunk SOAR run on-premises, and Tines offers self-hosted Docker images. Mindflow runs as a dedicated tenant hosted in Europe by default or in your own AWS account (October 2026).
